The Naval Enterprise Services Desk (NESD) is a centralized support center that provides Tier 0/1 support services to assist Naval personnel users (sailors, marines, and civilians) 24 hours a day/7 days a week both afloat and ashore. Users can navigate to the Digital Workplace (DWP) to either search the catalog for a knowledge article to resolve issues, access the chat function, or directly submit a ticket; call the support line; or send an email for technical support. NESD integrates state-of-the-art information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities with standardized processes to provide expedient and high-quality resolutions to support requests. The initiative consolidates disparate Tier 1 help desks, programs, and systems across the Naval enterprise to support the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DON) priorities (highlighted under Benefits).
